This library contains Java code for several Read-Write Locks: - ScalableRWLock: A rw-lock that scales with the number of threads doing read-lock. - ScalableRWLockS: Similar to above but different implementation. - ScalableStampedRWLock: An hybrid of the ScalableRWLock and the StampedLock provided in JDK 8, which provides good overall performance. - FAARWLock: Uses a Fetch-And-Add operation for the read-lock which means it is not so scalable as ScalableRWLock but it is still faster than classical implementations

This project contains a solution for a Bin Packing problem solved using Genectic Algorithms. The code in the project was created as a solution for a problem in a combinatorial optimization class at the Univeridade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS - Brasil) in 2007.

A fully functional red-black tree implemented in C++/CLI with an OO approach of naming and structuring which makes the code highly readable as well as easily portable to C# or Java. The package also includes a binary search tree and two traversal algorithms.
