    Pythonic Data Structures and Algorithms

    Pythonic Data Structures and Algorithms

Minimal examples of data structures and algorithms in Python

The Pythonic Data Structures and Algorithms repository by keon is a hands-on collection of implementations of classical data structures and algorithms written in Python. It offers working, often well-commented code for many standard algorithmic problems — from sorting/searching to graph algorithms, dynamic programming, data structures, and more — making it a valuable resource for learning and reference. DomainBed

DomainBed is a suite to test domain generalization algorithms

DomainBed is a PyTorch-based research suite created by Facebook Research for benchmarking and evaluating domain generalization algorithms. It provides a unified framework for comparing methods that aim to train models capable of performing well across unseen domains, as introduced in the paper In Search of Lost Domain Generalization. The library includes a wide range of well-known domain generalization algorithms, from classical baselines such as Empirical Risk Minimization (ERM) and...

    Image Harmonization Dataset iHarmony4

    Image Harmonization Dataset iHarmony4

The first large-scale public benchmark dataset for image harmonization

This repository provides the iHarmony4 dataset, which is a large-scale dataset designed for image harmonization tasks. Image harmonization involves adjusting the appearance of a foreground in a composite image so that it is consistent with the background (in color, tone, illumination, etc.). The iHarmony4 dataset comprises four sub-datasets (HCOCO, HAdobe5k, HFlickr, Hday2night), each making composite images by combining a foreground from one image with a background from another, along with...

    xxHash

    xxHash

    Extremely fast non-cryptographic hash algorithm

...It is proposed in four flavors (XXH32, XXH64, XXH3_64bits and XXH3_128bits). The latest variant, XXH3, offers improved performance across the board, especially on small data. It successfully completes the SMHasher test suite which evaluates collision, dispersion and randomness qualities of hash functions. Code is highly portable, and hashes are identical across all platforms (little / big endian). Performance on large data is only one part of the picture. Hashing is also very useful in constructions like hash tables and bloom filters. In these use cases, it's frequent to hash a lot of small data (starting at a few bytes). ...

    RBush

    RBush

    High-performance JavaScript R-tree-based 2D spatial index

...Spatial index is a special data structure for points and rectangles that allows you to perform queries like "all items within this bounding box" very efficiently (e.g. hundreds of times faster than looping over all items). It's most commonly used in maps and data visualizations. The demos contain visualization of trees generated from 50k bulk-loaded random points. Open web console to see benchmarks; click on buttons to insert or remove items; click to perform search under the cursor. An optional argument to RBush defines the maximum number of entries in a tree node. 9 (used by default) is a reasonable choice for most applications. Higher value means faster insertion and slower search, and vice versa.

    javascript-algorithms

    javascript-algorithms

JavaScript implementations of computer science algorithms

...It serves as a learning and reference resource for developers wanting to understand how standard algorithms can be expressed in JavaScript, bridging the gap between theoretical algorithm knowledge and practical implementation usable in web or Node.js contexts. Because algorithms are implemented in a language (JavaScript) many developers use daily, the repo becomes especially useful for students, interview-preparation candidates, or anyone wanting to learn algorithmic thinking without switching languages. The code tends to be readable, structured, and adapted to JavaScript idioms, making it easier to follow for JS developers.

Python library for studying Binary Trees

Binarytree is Python library that lets you generate, visualize, inspect and manipulate binary trees. Skip the tedious work of setting up test data, and dive straight into practicing algorithms. Heaps and BSTs (binary search trees) are also supported. Binarytree supports another representation which is more compact but without the indexing properties. Traverse trees using different algorithms.

    Consistent Depth

    Consistent Depth

We estimate dense, flicker-free, geometrically consistent depth

Consistent Depth is a research project developed by Facebook Research that presents an algorithm for reconstructing dense and geometrically consistent depth information for all pixels in a monocular video. The system builds upon traditional structure-from-motion (SfM) techniques to provide geometric constraints while integrating a convolutional neural network trained for single-image depth estimation. During inference, the model fine-tunes itself to align with the geometric constraints of a...

    FuzzyWuzzy

    FuzzyWuzzy

    Fuzzy string matching in Python

...One of our most consistently frustrating issues is trying to figure out whether two ticket listings are for the same real-life event (that is, without enlisting the help of our army of interns). To pick an example completely at random, Cirque du Soleil has a show running in New York called “Zarkana”. When we scour the web to find tickets for sale, mostly those tickets are identified by a title, date, time, and venue. We’ve built up a library of “fuzzy” string matching routines to help us along. And good news! We’re open sourcing it. The library is called “Fuzzywuzzy”, the code is pure python, and it depends only on the (excellent) difflib python library.
