OpenNeuron is a neural networks implementation written in Java. Currently supports only Kohonen Network model, but API is designed to be easily extended to model other network types. This implementation was used for face thermal pictures recognition.

Opt4J is an open source Java-based framework for evolutionary computation. It contains a set of (multi-objective) optimization algorithms such as evolutionary algorithms (including SPEA2 and NSGA2), differential evolution, particle swarm optimization, and simulated annealing. The benchmarks that are included comprise ZDT, DTLZ, WFG, and the knapsack problem. The goal of Opt4J is to simplify the evolutionary optimization of user-defined problems as well as the implementation of arbitrary meta-heuristic optimization algorithms. For this purpose, Opt4J relies on a module-based implementation and offers a graphical user interface for the configuration as well as a visualization of the optimization process.

OptorSim is a Grid simulator designed to test dynamic replication strategies used in optimising data location within a Grid. Each simulated site contains several storage or computing elements. Simulated jobs run and file accesses may trigger replication.

Origin is a evolver for the programming game Corewars. Part of this project is a modified MARS (Memory Array Redcode Simulator) written in C especialy for evolvers. With SWIG its going to be very easy to use in different languages.

This is Java library for working with overlapping trees both as with plain memory and as with hierarchical structure, with quick access to any levels and branches of tree (<page><...><section><line><word>tooLongWordForCurrentLi</line></page><page><line>neAndSectionTwoPages</word></line></section><...></page> (incorrect in classic XML)). There supported the cross-references (from="@leftPanel#template" target="$template"); cursors;copying and removing of parts; functionality to index and search data; convenient factory of dynamic generation of values and parts of data; simple variables and any objects as values and as unnamed data for manipulating. Every object of this container is an child of any numbers of trees and has dynamic address. The utility is not demanding to resources, requires no extraneous libraries and can be deployed in a small memory. It can run on mobile devices. Do not use linear algorithms, the speed is only slightly dependent on the size of data.

Pre-projetos_MLCM - É um conjunto de Programas e códigos fonte dos mesmos, com finalidade educacionais para a área de TI. Sendo eles programas simples que foram desenvolvidos para a aquisição de nota no curso de BCC. Os programas em si, estão ainda em desenvolvimento sendo disponibilizado uma prévia dos progressivos resultados, não se tendo uma data de finalização do projeto definida. Fica a disposição os códigos deles sobre a licença GPL para que estudantes e interessados possam fazer uso e estudo dos mesmos.
