    Swift Algorithm Club

    Swift Algorithm Club

Algorithms and data structures in Swift, with explanations

Swift Algorithm Club is a project that implements a broad collection of algorithms and data structures in the Swift programming language, with clear commentary and educational intent. Its purpose is not primarily to be a utility library, but rather to teach the how and why behind algorithms—readers can study implementations, complexity, and design choices in a Swift context. The repository includes common classic algorithms (sorting, searching, trees, graphs, dynamic programming, etc.) and...

    PRML

    PRML

    PRML algorithms implemented in Python

...Rather than just summarizing concepts, the repository includes working code that demonstrates linear regression and classification, kernel methods, neural networks, graphical models, mixture models with EM algorithms, approximate inference, and sequential data methods — all following the book’s structure and notation. Many of these algorithms are paired with Jupyter notebooks that let users interact with the code, visualize results, and experiment with parameters in a way that deeply strengthens theoretical understanding.

    ngraph.path

    ngraph.path

    Path finding in a graph

...It provides a clean API for constructing graph models, assigning weights to edges, and querying for optimal routes between nodes, making it useful for routing, games, maps, and network optimization. The library includes several algorithm implementations such as A*, Dijkstra’s, and breadth-first search, each suited to different types of graph structure and performance needs. It can be integrated with visualization libraries like VivaGraphJS to animate or highlight computed paths in a rendered graph, enabling interactive routing features. Its data structures and algorithm choices are optimized for performance and memory efficiency, so even large meshes or road networks can be navigated interactively. ...

    RBush

    RBush

    High-performance JavaScript R-tree-based 2D spatial index

RBush is a high-performance JavaScript library for 2D spatial indexing of points and rectangles. It's based on an optimized R-tree data structure with bulk insertion support. Spatial index is a special data structure for points and rectangles that allows you to perform queries like "all items within this bounding box" very efficiently (e.g. hundreds of times faster than looping over all items). It's most commonly used in maps and data visualizations. The demos contain visualization of trees generated from 50k bulk-loaded random points. ...

    Yangshun Lago

Data Structures and Algorithms library in TypeScript and JavaScript

...Because the code is idiomatic JavaScript, it also helps front-end engineers strengthen fundamentals without switching languages. The repository’s structure lets you browse topic by topic and compare trade-offs such as time versus space complexity. It’s a handy companion to interview prep lists: after reading a concept, you can open the matching Lago implementation and trace it line by line.

    Elementary Algorithms

Book of elementary algorithms and data structures

This book introduces elementary algorithms and data structure. It includes side-by-side comparison of purely functional realization and their imperative counterpart. From 2020/12, I started re-writing this book. The PDF can be downloaded for preview (EN, 中文). The 1st edition in Chinese (中文) was published in 2017. I recently switched my focus to the Mathematics of programming, the new book is also available in (github).

Implementation of various data structures and algorithms in Go

...Containers are either ordered or unordered. All ordered containers provide stateful iterators and some of them allow enumerable functions. A list is a data structure that stores values and may have repeated values. A list backed by a dynamic array that grows and shrinks implicitly. A list where each element points to the next element in the list. A set is a data structure that can store elements and has no repeated values. A Map is a data structure that maps keys to values.

    Quadtree Demo

Demonstrates a quadtree for spatial indexing of triangles

This C++ demo allows users to interactively explore a quadtree's behavior. For this purpose the demo uses a quadtree data structure based on axis-aligned bounding boxes to speed up the search for triangles in a mesh. Depending on a search point all triangles of a quadtree's region are retrieved and relevant information about the search is shown. Quadtree creation can be parametrized by three parameters: - Maximum tree depth. - Maximum number of triangles per region...

    AhoCorasickDoubleArrayTrie

    AhoCorasickDoubleArrayTrie

An extremely fast implementation of Aho Corasick algorithm

AhoCorasickDoubleArrayTrie is a Java implementation of the Aho–Corasick multi-pattern matching algorithm that is optimized using a Double-Array Trie data structure. It is designed for fast keyword scanning across large texts, where you want to search for many patterns simultaneously and efficiently. The core idea is to build an automaton from a dictionary of patterns, then stream through input text to emit matches with minimal overhead. By using a double-array trie representation, the project emphasizes performance and memory efficiency compared to simpler pointer-heavy trie structures, which can matter a lot for large dictionaries or latency-sensitive services. ...

    Triepocalypse

A trie data structure extracted from the typing game Typocalypse.

The typing game Typocalypse (https://code.google.com/p/typocalypse/source/browse/#hg/Trie) used a trie data structure which has been linked to separately from the game and has been of separate interest for some years now. It has now been given its own repository. A trie is a data structure used to find strings from their prefixes. After having stored strings in the trie, the trie will efficiently find all the strings which start with a particular prefix. ...

    deapheap

Deap is a doubly heap for both min and max number access.

A deap is a doubly priority queue for efficient data operations. Both insertion and deletion operations take O(log(N)) time. Access of min or max takes constant time. It can be useful when both min and max are needed in the queue. It can also be used in situations where the number of items is too large and items with low priorities can be dropped with keep memory footprint small.

    S-Match

S-Match is a semantic matching framework.

S-Match is a semantic matching framework. S-Match takes any two tree like structures (such as database schemas, classifications, lightweight ontologies) and returns a set of correspondences between those tree nodes which semantically correspond to one another. S-Match contains implementations of the semantic matching, minimal semantic matching and structure preserving semantic matching algorithms. S-Match applies as a solution in many fields, including: information integration,...
