It offers functionality beyond Flash’s built-in URLRequest/URLStream, implementing HTTP methods such as GET, POST, DELETE, etc., support for multipart form data, chunked transfer encoding, HTTPS (via TLS), and general HTTP client features for Flash and AIR applications. The project is old and no longer actively supported. Learn the HTTP protocol by trying to implement a client. Use AS3Crypto TLSSocket support for implementing HTTPS. Use it as a replacement for Flash's URLRequest/URLStream API. -
