    In this project, a perfect PCM sine wave is one that contains a single frequency at 0 dBTP and no error harmonics at all. A bit-perfect PCM sine wave has error harmonics due to encoding quantization, but they are at the minimum level possible for the chosen encoding. The generated wave files hold a sequence of one or more complete copies of a repeating pattern. A file containing a single pattern can be played in a loop to extend the play time.

The waveform generated by the program will correspond to the subliminal synesthetic sensation of the selected color. You can create your own synth presets to use in a track using color as a base.

The Page Up/Down keys trigger preset patterns. Random sounds are a combination of sine waves with harmonics, following random numbers, a separate experiment which happened to run in the same program. The complete source code is also here as one single ASM file, ready for assembly with the 'flat assembler'.
