- SCADA plugin for JMP is designed for remote hardware monitoring and high-level control. - JMP nodes must be running on all machines involved, i.e. both "polling" and "polled" machines. - Machines communicate over custom protocol on top of Java RMI with encryption. - The "field-level" machine gets the data from PLCs via Modbus. This project provides a library for remote method invocations between the browser and a Jetty Web Server using the HTML5's WebSocket. RMIWebSocket can be used as an alternative to XMLHttpRequest in developing rich Internet apps.
