Kobo64 is a space shooter game which can be considered as a "port" of Kobo Deluxe for the Commodore 64 platform. There are many similarities like maps or enemies, but the algorithms were altered to better fit to the platform limitations. It was written in 6502 assembler (64tass) for performance reasons. The game was an entry for the RGCD 2013 16KiB cartridge game competition. -

...The application also includes a version that is an educated guess of what the original TRS-80 development version would have looked like (on the Dick Smith System 80), coupled with a "Special Edition" version with all new graphics. A final version is also included, based on the 128K Spectrum version assembled by the "World of Spectrum" forum (but using the C64 extended location descriptions). BCPL INTCODE interpreter for the Commodore 64 (Who needs an IBM 360?)
Here you will find a small INTCODE interpreter written in C. The code not only compiles using CC65 (C64), but also with GCC, Laser C (ATARI ST), Megamax C (ATARI ST), Pure C (ATARI ST) and Sozobon C (Atari ST). Which means, it should compile on just about anything. Unlike other icint's, this one includes all of ICLIB and BLIB inside the interpreter, so, you don't need to include extra INTCODE. There are a lot of tasks that can be done to improve this system including: 1) Reducing the size of the BCPL compile by ripping out code. 2) Outputting OCODE as numbers which then are read back into cgi. 3) Using more of the native functions in BLIB. 4) Storing binary versions of trni, syni and cgi on disk, instead of loading INTCODE. 5) Joining trni and syni into one file. 6) Providing a console interface for compiling bcpl programs. ... -
