MIDI software to play tones from the "overtone series"
The Twonker is a free VST MIDI Plugin that allows a digital piano (or any MIDI instrument) to play tones from the Overtone Series. It is designed to run within most Digital Audio Workstations as a Synth Plugin on MacOS, Windows, and Linux. The Twonker allows a musician to play overtones in a predictable and flexible manner, using a regular MIDI-based keyboard. In essence, it behaves like twelve different pianos tuned to twelve different "Overtone Scales".

Swiss army knife of image processing
GraphicsMagick provides a set of commandline tools and programming APIs for manipulating, editing, and converting raster and vector images. It is derived from ImageMagick, with the objective of providing better stability and performance than ImageMagick while retaining the original MIT/X11 license.
An extended POSIX mailx(1) (moved to www.sdaoden.eu/code.html)
S-nail is a mail processing system with a command syntax reminiscent of ed(1) with lines replaced by messages. It is intended to provide the functionality of the POSIX mailx(1) command and offers (mostly optional) extensions for line editing, IDNA, MIME, S/MIME, SMTP and POP3. It is usable as a mail batch language.

Next version of ISO 7185 compatible Pascal from Pascal-P5
This is the next compiler in the Pascal-P series: Pascal-P2 The second (and widely distrubuted) original Pascal compiler from ETH/Zurich. Pascal-P4 An improved version of Pascal-P2 Pascal-P5 The Pascal-P4 compiler brought up to the full ISO 7185 language. Pascal-P6 Is designed to be a full compiler as well as a porting kit. As a full compiler, it implements extensions to the original ISO 7185 Pascal language. I use a formalized set of extensions that started in the 1980s called "Pascaline". This set of extensions were implemented in the compiler IP Pascal. This project is under development. If you want something to use now, please see the Pascal-P5 project. You can find all of the Pascal-P versions here on SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascal-s/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascal-p2/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalp4/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalp5/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascal-p6/

Algorithmic Computer Music w source code in 'c'
Algorithmic Computer Music (5th Ed 2018) explains algorithmic music and contains 59 programs, 21 styles, & 25 chapters that will generate music of different styles, new each time executed, as a midi file. You need only a 'c' compiler and a midi player to play the midi files generated. The 'styles' produce music from ancient Greek music to the algorithm of Kircher (1650) to all styles including the game music and the author's own unique fractal music and others of his. The algorithms are explained in technical terms of music theory, including data structures. There are folders of c files for each chapter with code, that may be compiled and when executed, generate the midi files. The last program added here is the ancient Greek music program, which included two years of intense research. Also, my fractal music programs are a result of 20 years of development and improvement. Reverse music was nearly my dissertation topic, but it was solved in a chapter. Art_folk.c improves folk.c

Pascal Units for Medical Applications
The PUMA Repository is a collection of Pascal units for medical informatics. It contains reusable source code for a wide field of health-care application development. The code includes converting functions for measurement units and an HL7 engine. PUMA is compatible with Lazarus and Free Pascal. Some of the units also support other Pascal implementations including Delphi, winsoft Pocket Studio and other compilers.
Advanced GTK+ Sequencer is intended to use for music composition. It features a piano roll, as well a synth, matrix editor, drum machine, soundfont2 player, mixer and an output panel. It's designed to be highly configurable, you may add effects to its effect chain, add or remove audio channels/pads. You may set up a fully functional network of engines, therefore exists a link editor for linking audio lines. In conjunction with ags you need a realtime kernel and alsa support. `ags` uses conditional locks to keep several threads in sync that's why you need at least a preemptible kernel.
