Lame MUD
A lame multi-user dungeon engine.
Lame MUD is planned to be an engine for virtual text based worlds (as opposed to the seizure inducing modern ARPG/MMORPG titles). Currently, it's still in pre-alpha. The sources available for download are not even remotely resembling anything like a MUD. There is a network layer established and the server acts as a one room chat server. -

I was always interested in making games, and I successfully modded another game but that is not what I want to do. I want to write my own game. So I made this as my first game. This is more of a challenge than anything else. It is just to see if I can develop a (hopefully fun)game written in only scripting languages. Right now it is called Monster Arena and when it is up and running it will be a gladiator style game where you fight monsters and return to the stalls to buy weapons, armor, etc. -
