During the period from 1990 through 2002, EPRI funded the development of a Lightning Protection Design Workstation (LPDW), which was used by many utilities to assess the lightning performance of distribution lines. Since about 2002, this program has not been available. EPRI decided to release the simulation kernel of LPDW under an open-source license (GPL v3), so it may be incorporated into IEEE Flash and other projects. OpenETran can presently simulate multi-conductor power lines, insulators, surge arresters, non-linear grounds, and lightning strokes. It efficiently calculates energy and charge duty on surge arresters, and iterates to find the critical lightning current causing flashover on one or more phases. ... -

The script is necessary to suppress the rst-packets from the linux kernel. I created this program to improve my C skills and to gain some experience in network programming. It is a early version and everyone is welcome to improve it ;). I´m from Germany so program and the comments are in German. Sorry for that ;) -

The goal of pure is to deliver a test suite which contained a subset of automated testing cases that were accumulated from the experience of the past few years on testing the Linux kernel and BSPs as well as publishing the resultes of tests. We have decided upon a core programming language for the kernel, and the core language for almost everything else. This is a sister-project of [1] where I maintain grsecurity images. Similar to that project, here I maintain xenomai real-time kernel images that can be installed as debian packages. These images have been created through the generic configuration provided by Ubuntu 12.04 so they are not vendor specific. They can be installed simply by dpkg -i and they come with a pre-installed initrd ramfs so you don't have to generate a new one. Just like it's sister project we don't need any actual code uploaded in the repositories because all the Linux kernel and xenomai code is available to public. ... -
