Linux game server UDP flood analyzer and protector
ServerArk is a application for Linux gaming servers that samples and analyzes incoming UDP packets at the kernel level in real time to determine if any packets are part of a UDP flood attack. Flood attacks on gaming servers are typically designed to make the players on the server lag to the point where the game is not playable. It can even crash some game servers.
This project is aimed at providing (open) software to support pure virtual interface for LinuxKernel. All Linux networking functionality will be supported on these interfaces.
For Release 1.1
1) Adds support for connectivity between the vnics of two different systems by way of creating overlays. (VXLAN style)
2) On a virtual environment it can either run on hypervisor or inside a VM (as applicable).

Note: the project is basically dead, as I started rewriting it but I don't have much free time to work on it.
It's basically a micro-kernel, but on top of that, instead of having multiple servers running as standalone processes, it has a modular kernel, so that each server is a module of this kernel.
The micro-kernel contains only the scheduler, memory management and drivers for high-speed devices (like gigabit ethernet NICs or video cards).
The PortKnocko project is composed of two parts: an iptables module (user space) and a netfilter module (kernel space). Both modules are used to implement the Port Knocking and SPA (Simple Packet Authentication).

Colour lines in syslog-ng logs according to severity
...You have to customize syslog-ng to include severity as the first character in each logged line, and to pipe the logged messages through the logcolourer program.
You can use the program to colour any file according to digits in the first character of each line.
logcolourer can also process lines from the linuxkernel, though these normally get routed via syslog-ng anyway.
base.vdi images should be place into [installdir]/Drives directory on a speedLinux installation. Speedlinux uses coLinux kernel. If downloaded with the installer you don't have to do this yourself.
Link to Speedlinux Installer: https://sourceforge.net/projects/freetzlinux/
(This images may be used on coLinux without speedlinux installer as well, but then you have to know what you are doing. Out of the box functionality is only the case if used in combination with the speedlinux...
