    shared_from_this() in Constructor

    shared_from_this() in Constructor

    Drop-in replacement for std::shared_ptr + std::enable_shared_from_this

    Apparently, many people dislike that the standard std::enable_shared_from_this class does not allow to invoke shared_from_this() in the constructor. Guess What: This library is supposed to fill the gap. The boost library does that too, but it does not allow shared_ptrs to be made inside the destructor and it doesn't provide a release() method to gain ownership of the contained pointer.

    LexGupthor

    Lexer+parser for Gupta Team Developer source code

    LexGupthor is a C# framework for lexing and parsing Gupta source code -- more precisely, Gupta Technologies (ex-Unify, ex-ex-Centura, ex-ex-ex-Gupta) Team Developer (ex-SQLWindows) source code. In short, you feed Gupta source code to LexGupthor, and it gives you an STD. STD (here) = syntax tree description, not a very accurate concept, sits between an AST (abstract syntax tree) and a CST (concrete) because of the particularly restrictive and ambiguous grammar of this language. Basically it will get the job done without a University diploma. The Gupta STD that our project helps you get can be easily used on its own, or as the backbone of our related Gupta source code analysis+improvements tool called OgleGupta.

    Binaly

    Binaly

    A binary/hex editor which subdivides the file into sections which are

    ...It knows the following kinds of data sections: - Random binary data: The byte's average value is in [108, 148] and the standard deviation is in [60, 68]. - Text data: The average value is > 64 and the std. dev. < 40. - Homogeneous data: The std. dev. is < 2. - Other data section: The block doesn't fit into any of the categories above. This is very useful to get a quick overview over the file and its content.

    hbcxx

    Use "#!/usr/bin/env hbcxx" to make C++ source code executable

    hbcxx uses the Unix hashbang (or shebang) #!/path/to/interpreter technique to make C++ source code directly executable. Modern C++, meaning C++11 or even C++14, feels like another language. This is not because the language has been changed massively but because the new features encourage a different, and slightly higher level way to think about writing C++. It's faster, more fun, supports lambdas, has tools to simplify memory management and includes regular expressions in the standard...

    Simple C++ string and vector classes

    Two simple C++ classes, replacements for std::string and std::vector

    The classes are useful as training examples for a C+++ tutorial, for novices in C++, or if you have to avoid the standard C++ library with its classes std::string and std::vector class for any reason. It contains basic functionality compatible with the std:: versions, more functions can easily be added. Class my_string is based on original work by Christian Stigen Larsen, 2007. It may happen in real projects that the std library must be avoided: I needed it because of link problems in an application using mixed libraries, especially one compiled with an old Intel compiler icc 7 (for Linux), and other libs compiled with newer compilers. ...

    AnsiGL

    AnsiGL

    A modern "graphics" API for text-based applications

    ...Many comparable APIs tend to either use video hardware, or are simply not as fully-featured as one might hope or expect, at least in the area of visual elements. AnsiGL can serve to bridge that gap easier, and since it "renders" to a std::string (or optionally, an ncurses WINDOW *), integration should be relatively easy with just about any project. Bindings to ncurses are provided to allow for rapid, fully-featured application development with old and familiar friends, along with AnsiGL.
