...The code was originally forged in C but limitations in that approach led me to ARM assembler, and fortunately GNU compiler collection helped in that transition. Small assembler code experiments can be typed into the module's read write memory, displayed and executed. One strange, annoying feature is that the code running in the STM32 can't execute any subroutines in the flash memory. This project requires a serial terminal e.g. on Linux, minicom on a USB serial TTL adapter running at 9600 baud, 8bits, no parity. The idea is about to use the DSO for get measure (without PC control) and then easily and fastly transfer data to PC (USB) for documentation of a project. You can show data and parameters about measures save them in CSV files or (in future) bitmap, pdf, ps. I don't wish to control the DSO but read, manipulate and save data. It is a java application but at this moment it work on linux only, but I think it should be easy get it working for M$W. It works but it is a beta version, your linux user has to be able to read and write on "/dev/usbtmc0" (see readme.txt" file). -
