Capture is a mod for the Organelle (by Critter & Guitari) that adds (if activated) a true-stereo combination of smooth compressors and brickwall limiters (SuperCompress) + a recorder to the master output for resampling audio from almost any patch. Audio Setup (Organelle)
Change the audio settings / sample rate from the Extra menu.
Note that the Organelle and most of its patches aren’t made to run above 44.1khz so this is more of a hack tool made for resampling experiments with Capture than what most might expect from its title : these pd-opts.txt files add a huge amount of audio latency for “safety before optimisation”. You can use this with your own settings by simply editing the pd-opts.txt files into /data/audio\ setup and customizing the scripts and folders into /System/Audio\ Setup Please check the Files section for details and instructions, and see the Support section for more informations. -

The SoX Resampler library `libsoxr' performs one-dimensional sample-rate conversion—it may be used, for example, to resample PCM-encoded audio. It aims to give fast and high quality results for any constant (rational or irrational) resampling ratio. Phase-response, preserved bandwidth, aliasing, and rejection level parameters are all configurable; alternatively, simple `preset' configurations may be selected. An experimental, variable-rate resampling mode of operation is also included. -

...The main purpose is to "override" the LPF(s) inside of the DAC by upsampling (relatively) low sampling rate frequencies (44.1k, 48k), assuming the software can do it much more accurate. It should be noted that the component, allows to compare two main resampling techniques with the same parameters. The user interface is built to be intuitive and to allow to maximize the control and ability to adjust the parameters to the user's personal taste.

The TESTIMAGES archive is a huge and free collection of sample images designed for analysis and quality assessment of different kinds of displays and image processing techniques. The archive includes more than 2 million images originally acquired and divided in three different categories: SAMPLING and SAMPLING_PATTERNS (aimed at testing resampling algorithms), COLOR (aimed at testing color rendering on different displays) and PATTERNS (aimed at testing the rendering of standard geometrical patterns).
