This small application aims to to help the user take structured plain text notes one at a time. By design, the application aim to be as simple as possible to take a note without being distracted by bells and whistles. The application can also be used to record todos and journal entries. They are structured because they have consistent names ([type]-timestamp.txt), stored in one configurable path, and, optionally, their contents follow predefined formats (see the cnf file). -

...To connect two computers, just enter the IP or the address of the remote computer and click "Connect". In the remote computer, click the "Connect" button but leaving the address text box empty. Filename Randomizer
Randomizes file names in a given directory
...It will give them a random, 32-character file name consisting of hexadecimal characters (a-f, 0-9), and keep the extension of the file. Why? Well, I have a lot of files that are really nondescript, and having a random file name for them instead of "New Text Document 45124.txt" works out better. For me, at least. It requires .NET Framework 4.0 installed on the target computer. Please note that it will skip "Thumbs.db" and "desktop.ini", so as not to screw up your thumbnails or folder settings. Feature requests are welcome. Planning to add support for custom file name length in the future. -
