A user can follow the tutorial's instructions, then run X-definition just by using the java command with the -jar option, and passing a file with the .xdef extension and a source XML file as arguments. The executable jar file's main class calls X-definition's API (slightly modified within the jar archive to short-circuit some of its complexity: see the README), and an end user can therefore focus on learning the X-definition format, which is an XML vocabulary. ...
