    A RenderMan-compatible renderer, revived in 2026

GMAN is a RenderMan-compatible renderer begun in 1999 and revived in 2026. Give it a RIB scene and it renders an image. Version 0.6.0 marks the revival. The z-buffer renderer supports all seven RenderMan quadrics, convex polygons, matte/plastic/metal surface shaders, ambient/distant/point lights and TIFF, PNG, JPEG and PNM output. It builds on macOS and Linux with C++17 and CMake. Development, releases and build instructions: https://github.com/jac18281828/gman Start page:...
