Curv is a simple, powerful, dynamically typed, pure functional programming language. Curv is easy to use for beginners.     GComb

    GComb is a gCode viewing tool with an interior focus

    GComb is an open-source quick and easy Java tool intended to ease the lives of all 3D printing hobbyists by providing a look inside a “sliced” GCode file and a better view of what is going to be printed, before it is printed. It works by parsing GCode files and producing an image for each layer of the printed object, any of which can then be viewed. GComb was originally written on Mac OS X using Eclipse with Java version 1.7.0_25, and was made for a Makerbot™ The Replicator Dual printing Skeinforge 50-generated GCode files. The jar file in the package was compiled for use by Java versions 1.5 and greator but, its compatibility on different operating systems and utility for different printers and slicers than those it was written for is not assured. However, we coders did our best to make sure that our implementation would not depend on comments in GCode or slicer-specific details, so it should work given files generated by Slic3r and others as well as Skeinforge.

    Fix STL files for 3D printing

    ImatiSTL is a C++ library for applications that need to finely post-process raw polygon meshes represented by STL files. It is particularly useful in 3D printing scenarios: the repairing functions provided by ImatiSTL bridge the gap between printable meshes and real-world meshes with diverse potential defects and flaws (e.g. degenerate triangles, self-intersections, surface holes, ...). ImatiSTL provides both functions for local mesh repairing and methods for global remeshing. Local repairing is useful when the available data must remain exactly as it is in the input STL file, whereas global remeshing may fix even highly corrupted meshes at the cost of a small distortion in the resulting fixed mesh.

    The Vis3r NxtVR headset is an open source, OpenXR and OpenHMD compliant, motion tracking VR headset that you can build yourself for under €80 - designed to be printed on almost any home 3D printer, with simple and easy to assemble hardware components that are aimed at the complete novice. The headset comes in two distinct versions, both based around an STM32 development board, a cheap and easily available screen, and a headset that you can 3D print yourself. One uses the ever popular 6DoF MPU 6050, whilst the other uses the more recently released 9DoF BMX055 sensor board. As both the sensor boards and STM32 are very inexpensive, their combination offers one of the most cost effective and powerful hardware combinations available for a VR Headset.
