The ObjectVolume program calculates the volume, surface area and centroid of a closed triangular mesh represented in an object file (.obj). The process goes through the list of triangles that make up the surface and, for each triangle, forms a tetrahedron with an external point. The program uses the origin (0,0,0). This java application takes input images of an object on a a known sheet of paper and produce a realistic 3d triangulated model of the object. It is designed to integrate the software with the Reprap project to create a simple "3d photocopier". The software was written for a PhD thesis and is currently in an incomplete state.
