Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. It infers the geometry of a scene from a set of unordered photographies or videos. Photography is the projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plane, losing depth information. The goal of photogrammetry is to reverse this process. The dense modeling of the scene is the result yielded by chaining two computer vision-based pipelines, “Structure-from-Motion” (SfM) and “Multi View Stereo” (MVS).
The Python Computer Graphics Kit is a collection of Python modules that
contain the basic types and functions to be able to create 3D computer
graphics images (focusing on Pixar's RenderMan interface).
AcMus is a project on musical acoustics devoted to the development of models and computer tools for the study of room acoustics and focus on helping the investigation of issues related to the design, control and acoustic treatment of environments. AcMus has not been maintained for a few years now, but the code may still be useful. We consider the current repository to be at https://gitlab.com/ccsl-usp/acmus .
A designer’s program for describing parts of the building
Buildes is an integrated development environment that assists the user in creating building information. It reads a text (session) file from which it compiles the information. It then allows the user to browse, analyze and export the resulting building knowledge. The compilation system is written in pure Python. The building components created are rendered in PythonOCC. The GUI is written using PyQt.
With up to 25k MAUs and unlimited Okta connections, our Free Plan lets you focus on what you do best—building great apps.
You asked, we delivered! Auth0 is excited to expand our Free and Paid plans to include more options so you can focus on building, deploying, and scaling applications without having to worry about your security. Auth0 now, thank yourself later.
Sphaerica is an interactive spherical geometry computer software. You can create complex geometric constructions in spherical geometry with this software. It supports orthogonal, stereographic and gnomonic projections to display your construction. It also has a built in scripting language for automated constructions.
This is an open source software for 3D modelling. Basically it was developed in 2005 as a software support for my master diploma thesis in the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (Kyiv, Ukraine). For some reason this project has been frozen and finally I defended a master thesis in mathamatics. However, I believe that the project can be useful for those who are interested in computer graphics, linear algebra and geometry.

GeoSolid3D produces 3D geologic solid models, incorporated into the aquifer and confining units of the USGS ground water models, Modflow and Sutra. Uses GIS data of DEMs, geologic maps, and maps of river, watershed, recharge, and aquifer parameters.
A robotic DIY styrofoam cutter consisting of one rotational and two translational axes. It cuts a variety of shapes out of styrofoam-like materials using a hot wire. This project documents the necessary hardware and software parts.
Don't miss the follow-up project at http://raumschaum.org
Its goal is to further develop hardware and software into an user friendly application.
