Woa is a 3D reconstruction library, currently have not the ability to be a software, just a toy for somebody interesting in 3D reconstruction.

"wpf-plot3d" is a tool designed to plot 3-dimensional graphics. xeogl is an open source JavaScript library from xeolabs for 3D model visualization on WebGL. It gives you tools to create interactive 3D worlds in your browser. AcMus is a project on musical acoustics devoted to the development of models and computer tools for the study of room acoustics and focus on helping the investigation of issues related to the design, control and acoustic treatment of environments. Freecloth is a free, open-source cloth simulation tool for use in cloth simulation research, and to help in production of feature films or games using cloth. The idea is similar to Maya Cloth: a tool to create clothing for digital characters.

Pygmalion3D is multi platform oriented 3DCG environment. Basically 3D models are created by polygonal subdivision surface. Unfortunately animation features not yet. Mainly POV-Ray is used for rendering.

avoCADo is a 3D design and modeling program (CAD) which aims to be a collaborative tool with an intuitive user interface for both engineers and artists alike. avoCADo is open source under the GPL.

Unlike other 3D modeling packages, this 3D Model Editor gives you precise control over texture mapping at the time each three-dimensional object is created. Instead of creating a model and then applying a texture to it, you create the model by drawing it directly on the texture. Textures are embedded in saved model files so there is no problem with models getting separated from their textures. You can extract the textures any time and save them to bitmap files, modify and reload them into your model. Multiple geometric mesh objects can be created from a single texture and combined into a three-dimensional model, with any seams quickly and accurately closed using the patented stitch technology. Solids of extrusion and revolution can be quickly created with texture map coordinates automatically applied at creation. Restricted vertex editing allows modification of three-dimensional geometry in situations where vertex selection would otherwise be ambiguous.

JPatch is a 3D Modelling/Animation tool designed to model and animate "organic" shapes such as humans, animals, aliens, etc. It's written in Java and outputs to POV-Ray and RenderMAN format (e.g. Aqsis).

powerPlant is a plant modelling tool based on parametric plant descriptions, producing highly detailed models that can be exported to 3ds. Deriving similar plants is a matter of 1 click! Complete scenes can be composited with the integrated scene editor.
