Help Wanted: ClamTK, Ultrastar Deluxe, Whonix, Juffrou

There’s always a lot of projects looking for help on SourceForge. Ideally, every project is anxiously waiting for your help and will welcome you with open arms when you arrive. But some projects are actively out there looking for people to step into certain roles.

The “Help Wanted” forum is a good place to look if you’re either looking for help, or looking for a project to help.

Here are just a few of the projects looking for help:

  • ClamTk – Python Programmer wanted

    ClamTk is a graphical interface for Clam Antivirus. It is designed to be an easy-to-use, lightweight, on-demand desktop virus scanner for Linux.

    They are looking for a Python programmer who can assist by writing a nautilus extension as documented here.

  • UltraStar Deluxe – Documenters and Testers wanted

    Karaoke game inspired by the Singstar™ game available on the Playstation®.

    They are looking for documentation help and Windows and Linux Testers.

  • Whonix – Webmaster wanted

    Whonix is an anonymous general purpose operating system based on Virtual Box, Debian GNU/Linux and Tor. The project homepage with a full project description, threat model and documentation, build instructions can be found here: http://whonix.sf.net

  • Juffrou – Java Developer wanted
    Juffrou stands for Java Utilities Framework For the Rest Of Us and is a collection of useful classes or mini frameworks to help the java developer. Checkout the juffrou-reflect module if you are into performant java bean handling.

    They are looking for additional programmers to help make Juffrou-xml compatible with Spring-oxm

And also, for projects manager looking for more help, there are also a section where developers who are looking to join a project have posted information about themselves.
