Somehow, another week has gone around, and it’s time to post this week’s featured projects. Some of these, you’ve seen before, and there’s some newcomers here. We’re always proud of our SourceForge projects.

  • Bonita Open Solution: Open Source BPM

    Bonita Open Solution is a complete business process management (BPM) Suite (BPMS), built in Java. Bonita Open Solution includes Bonita Studio for graphically designing process diagrams in BPMN 2.0, the Bonita Execution Engine, and the User Experience (User XP) portal to manage and interact with processes. Business users can generate process-driven applications or technical users can embed the Bonita Execution Engine inside their own applications.   • TORCS – The Open Racing Car Simulator

    TORCS, The Open Racing Car Simulator is a highly portable multi platform car racing simulation. It is used as ordinary car racing game, as AI racing game and as research platform. It runs on Linux (x86, AMD64 and PPC), FreeBSD, OpenSolaris, MacOSX and Windows.

  • TripleA Maps

    A project by Veqryn for creating, centralizing, and hosting all open-source TripleA maps, as well as other developer resources such as artwork and map makers. If you need the actual TripleA program, go here:

  • ADempiere ERP Business Suite

    ADempiere Business Suite ERP/CRM/MFG/SCM/POS done the Bazaar way in an open and unabated fashion. Focus is on the Community that includes Subject Matter Specialists, Implementors and End-Users. We forked and survived Compiere which is now closed.

  • Pinguy OS

    Pinguy OS an out-of-the-box working operating system for everyone, not just geeks.

  • West Point Bridge Design Contest

    A national virtual bridge engineering contest with prizes for age 13 to grade 12, but anyone can enter. Based on the award-winning West Point Bridge Designer client software, now open source.

  • OS X Portable Applications

    OS X FOSS applications packaged as portable so that can carried around on any portable device, USB thumb drive, iPod, portable hard drive, memory card or other portable device.

  • XOOPS Web Application Platform

    XOOPS is one of world’s leading open source CMS and portal systems, written in PHP for the MySQL database. Its object orientation makes it an ideal tool for developing small or large community websites, intra company and corporate portals, weblogs and much more.

    Founded in 2001 by group of international software developers, XOOPS quickly become one of world’s leading Open Source Content Management Systems (CMS).

    Known and loved for its ease of use and countless powerful modules, XOOPS received numerous International Awards and Recognitions, including being the Top 5 finalist of the 2008, 2009, and 2010 CMS Awards by Packt Publishing. In January 2009 it received the 2008 China Open Source Software Contest Award and in October 2010 the “Best Technology Award” from Northeast Asia OSS Forum.

  • EDK II

    EDK II is a development code base for creating UEFI drivers, applications and firmware images.
