Wirefly released the results of its 2017 Internet Speed Rankings last week. The report was a joint research partnership with SourceForge, an open source website dedicated to helping open source projects succeed through community collaboration and successful distribution. The report was populated by results derived from users across the country who ran the speed tests on their mobile devices.
In the report, T-Mobile ranked first with a speed of 21.06 Mbps, while Sprint placed fourth with 14.82 Mbps. Here’s how the top four United States carriers ranked along with their average speeds:

T-Mobile was also named the fastest mobile carrier based on Wirefly Test data with 22.18 Mbps. Sprint also ranked fourth with 15.76 Mbps. Below are the rankings:
