X5042 Wi-Fi Extender

The X5042 Wi-Fi Extender is engineered for performance and usability. X5 wireless extenders are built around Wi-Fi 6 to provide the capacity, efficiency, coverage, and performance required by today’s most demanding consumers. even in the most demanding Wi-Fi environments allow service providers to reliably and securely deliver high-quality Wi-Fi to any location in a subscriber’s home.

One or more X5 Extenders are capable of being part of a HomeAssure®Managed Wi-Fi solution. HomeAssure® delivers optimized, high-performance Wi-Fi to every corner of the home, while offering ease of use for the consumer and reduced OpEx costs for the service provider. Reliable Wi-Fi that supports a host of current and emerging use cases; from streaming ultra-high-definition movies, online gaming, to business applications, allowing customers to stay connected and productive.

Multiple X5s may also be used as a stand-alone mesh Wi-Fi network for use with any home gateway or router.

The X5 includes a full suite of remote management features to ensure optimal customer experience and to reduce operator operational expenses. The extender may be part of an ARRIS Wi-Fi Home system to deliver high-performance Wi-Fi throughout the home as part of an auto-configuring, auto-optimizing Wi-Fi EasyMesh™ network.

Furthermore, the product comes with an integrated ARRIS ECO Agent TR-069 client. A future software option will be support for the next generation of CPE management standards with the integration of the ARRIS Envoy USP (User Service Platform) client.

X6 Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Extender

Capitalizing on the latest in Wi-Fi advancements, the X6 wireless extender introduces the highly-anticipated 6 GHz frequency band. Made available by the FCC on December 7, 2020, the 6 GHz band launches an additional 1.2 GHz of available spectrum for Wi-Fi communications. The X6 wireless extender represents a means for the Service Provider to take advantage of this additional spectrum in the homes and offices of their subscribers.

The X6’s state-of-the-art wireless design, built around Wi-Fi 6E, provides the capacity, efficiency, coverage, and performance required by the most demanding Wi-Fi® environments. Users can leverage X6-facilitated mesh networks to reach the newest 6GHz-capable client devices, to achieve greater network responsiveness for the most latency-sensitive applications, and to reach greater levels of throughput using the plentiful ultra-wide 160MHz Wi-Fi channels in the 6 GHz band.

The X6 includes a full suite of management features to ensure the best customer experience while reducing Service Provider operational expenses. The integrated ARRIS ECO TR-069 agent (and future ECO Envoy TR-369/USP agent) ensures the X6 wireless extender is configurable according to the needs of the individual application. Finally, the X6 wireless extender supports a variety of intelligent Wi-Fi management systems available on the market today, including the Wi-Fi Alliance’s EasyMesh™ network standard.
