Proteus STB

CommScope is pleased to provide the open source software used in the Proteus STB platform suite!

Proteus' objective is to define a unified and modular STB platform across all different Telefonica’s video services and technologies (DTH, CATV, IPTV, OTT) while providing a future proof next generation platform which will be covering the requirements requested by Telefónica for the Movistar TV services. This platform will be the base for a HD/4K connected boxes which will have Telefónica TV Open Platform for IPTV and OTT functions.

There are nine variant set-top boxes (pictured below) for which this redistribution is appropriate. There may be more over time.

Please note that this project is for distributing, discussing, and supporting the open source software we release. This site does not provide any SDKs or general purpose developer support.
