Touchstone OG1600 Outdoor Gateway

CommScope is pleased to provide the open source software used in the Touchstone OG1600 Outdoor Gateway !

The OG1600 is a DOCSIS Gateway with dual-band WiFi AP support. The OG1600 with its superior 802.11ac Dual Band Wireless radios can deliver this performance with its excellent coverage and speed capabilities. This unit is a complete access point compressed into a small form factor that can be easily installed and integrated with the cable operator’s HFC network utilizing the current strand based infrastructure. With internal plant compensation built in, the unit is not designed for or requires opening when connecting to the main RF plant infrastructure. This product utilizes the Touchstone SW on the Intel Puma6 architecture with a QCA WiFi implementation. Multiple provisioning methods (SNMP, Configuration File, TFTP, and TR-069/181) allow custom designed setups to be applied to monitor the end user more efficiently. Multiple remote access levels also allow more ease and flexibility for manual configuration and control. Device location is also assured through the on board GPS tracking system.
