Business System Terminator

ARRIS is pleased to provide the open source software used in the Business System Terminator (BST) product!

The BST provides the abilitiy to manage the communication between the back office and DAC 6000 by associating the interface from the back office to a range of one or more ports on the DAC 6000. Back office systems include the following systems:
• Business System (BS): Communication from the Business System comes in the proprietary Wirelink protocol format and are routed by the BST to one or more DAC 6000s. Earlier versions of BST included a software package called the Business System Interface Adaptor (BSIA) which performed this routing but was limited to a single DAC 6000.
• Device Services via the Video Device Provisioner (VDP): Communication from a VDP comes in the format specified in the VDP-Controller Interface Specification. The BST translates these commands to the Wirelink protocol and communicates them downstream to the DAC 6000.

Please note that this project is for distributing, discussing, and supporting the open source software we release. This site does not provide any SDKs nor general purpose developer support for the Business System Terminator.
