HMC3021, HMC220B and HMC3000

ARRIS is pleased to provide the open source software used in the HMC3021, HMC220B and HMC3000 devices!

ARRIS HMC3021 is an all‐digital DVB cable terminal platform, designed to deliver high‐definition (HDTV) video to basic subscribers. HMC3021 is a cost‐effective device that converts an operator’s digital signal in the home for subscribers viewing of HD content. HMC3021 supports a wide range of video rates, and decodes standard MPEG‐2, H.264 and MPEG‐4 transport streams including most audio/video formats.
Additionally, it is designed to support a variety of Conditional Access System (CAS). HMC3021 set‐top features include a standard SmartCard interface, optional two‐way Ethernet port for interactive applications, and a 750 MHz processor.

ARRIS HMC220B is an all-digital DVB cable terminal platform, designed to deliver high definition (HDTV) video to basic subscribers. It is a cost effective device that converts an operator’s digital signal in the home for subscribers viewing of HD content. HMC220B supports a wide range of video rates, and decodes standard MPEG-2, H.264 and MPEG-4 transport streams including most audio/video formats. Additionally, it is designed to support Euro-DOCSIS 2.0, HDMI 1.4a, Dolby AC-3, EAC-3 and USB 2.0. HMC220B set-top features include a standard SmartCard interface, optional two way Ethernet port for interactive applications, a 1100 DMIPS CPU and a 800 DMIPS DOCSIS CPU.

ARRIS HMC3000 is an all-digital DVB cable terminal platform, specially designed to provide high-definition (HDTV) video, along with connective to USB mass storage device, on demand service, and to extend the possibilities for broadband television. HMC3000 supports a wide range of video rates, and decodes standard MPEG-2, H.264 and MPEG-4 transport streams including most audio/video formats. The platform supports interactive services with ARRIS KreaTV integrated: an extensive set-top box software framework for TV applications, supports CAS and/or DRM usage, web browser applications, and a comprehensive SDK for fast application programming by the customer or a third party.
