Hi,
ser2net writes its process name to the LCK file locking the serial port, while the FHS specifies that lock files need to be in the HDB UUCP lock file format. The HDB format is to store the process identifier (PID) as a ten byte ASCII decimal number, with a trailing newline. For example, if process 1230 holds a lock file, it would contain the eleven characters: space, space, space, space...

Hi,
Error in selective regexp:/etc/amanda/DailySet1/oldlog/log\.@@{YEAR4D][0-9]{4}\.0$Error in selective regexp:/srv/amanda/scy001/log/oldlog/log\.@@{YEAR4D][0-9]{4}\.0$
There should be a space after the ":", and the trailing \n seems to be missing.

Hi,
I use keepassx to store telnet passwords and tend to open new telnet sessions in existing shell windows. I could therefore not use the "open URL" button even if my system would properly handle telnet URLs.
I'd like to have an option that doesn't open the URL but instead copies the URL text into the clipboard. I would then put a "telnet hostname" command into the URL field, and paste it...

Please implement a password generator option that creates pronounceable passwords, for example, using the NIST FIPS 181 standard.

Hi,
keepassx demands that a password be repeated when entered. Since keepassx has an option to show the password in clear text, this is not strictly necessary.
Please implement an option that a user can decide whether a password needs to be repeated or not.

Hi,
the aide.conf man page is missing the explanation for "b", which would be "block count".
Thanks to Francois Gouget for filing this bug with Debian (#469503).
Greetings
Marc.

Hi,
this is Debian Bug #152203, which is ancient, but seems to be reproduced on today's systems. See http://bugs.debian.org/152203:
Hello
Everytime I execute "aide --init" on sparc64 aide is killed by a SIGBUS. It
seams this happens the first time, it tries to write real data to aide.db.new.
Original bug reporter writes:
Here are the last lines
of "aide --init --verbose=255":

Hi,
it looks like ser2net does not remove its pidfile when it terminates cleanly. I am not sure whether it should, but please evaluate and close the bug if you think that ser2net does the right thing.
Greetings
Marc.
