Thanks a lot, Niels. I can verify that the current version in CVS builds and works fine on my x86 Fedora 11 system.

Niels,
I tried your patch but the compiler showed the same error and ufraw would not build. The second patch, posted by Alberto, still gives some compiler warnings but ufraw does build and is functional.
Thanks,
-patrick.

Hey,
I have a question for anyone who is familiar with Nikon's image processing. Is the Base curve where you could try to simulate Nikon's D-Lighting feature? Has anyone made a curve that does this sort of thing? I'd be curious to see some examples.
Normally I don't play with my photos that way since I usu try to have a flash around to fill out the shadows but sometimes you just can't help...

Howdy,
In the Gimp you should use the unsharp mask tool for this, It can be found in the Enhance section of the Filter menu item. Depending on the size of the image you'll want to adjust the amount (I generally just adjust the amount parameter) of sharpening so it doesn't look too fake (e.g. overly crisp).
Cheers,

Recent cvs versions of ufraw produce corrupted jpg images when a non-integer value is specified for the shrink factor. This bug seems to be present for .tif and .jpg image types. I have tested this on AMD x86_64 and x86 (Pentium III), both running up to date Fedora Core 6.
Images that are scaled with shrink factors of 1.000, 2.000, 3.000, or 4.000 all look fine.
Images that are scaled...

Udi,
I am running the cvs version. Here's some info:
1:33pm zifi-> ufraw --version
ufraw 0.9
EXIF disabled.
EXIV2 enabled.
JPEG enabled.
TIFF enabled.
ZIP enabled.
The source file is from a Nikon D70 if that matters.
