Die Datei enthält tatsächlich nur die Kerndaten und benutzt der einfachheit Halber eine Datei die sich selbst aktualisiert. Das hilft den meisten Leuten schon weiter, die "mal eben" eine Entfernungsrechnung brauchen.
Eine Umkreissuche habe ich auch schon hier (Danke an Christian Homeyer für die Erweiterung), aber leider habe ich noch keine Zeit gehabt sie ordentlich online zu stellen...

Wenn du einfach "nur" das Script benutzt, sollte alles so wie du dir das vorstellst funktionieren:

Ein Beispiel ist dabei. Wenn man grundlegende PHP-Kenntnisse hat, kann da nicht viel schief gehen. ;-)
