@stephan79: are you able to fix it too?.

Under Setup/Gpx Receiver I see two suboptions:
- Select Directory - for logging locally - I know exactly how this works and use this option normally
- Select bluetooth device - this does not work for me or I do not know how to use this -> this is exactly where my questions is targetted to. it's not that i don't know how to export to GPX
thanks anyway.

hello can anyone please explain what is this option good for? i set bluetooth device to my laptop hoping that when i export the track it will arrive as a new file and it does not work. couldn't find any documentation in wiki either. thanks, joe.

currently, when map is read from filesystem, the map data together with style data (icons) is read, but opencellid data is ignored (it's only read from internal midlet). could you please make it read from filesystem instead? i use ext. maps quite a lot and opencellid db tends to change frequently thus this may save a lot of time reinstalling the application, setting gpsmid permissions, restoring...

currently when opencellid dbase is used as a location receiver, satellite view is pretty much useless. i suggest to make it look like a radar - so it could possibly serve cellhunters helping them locate new cells (http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/CellHunter). i know gpsmid is primarily gathered around osm community but everybody can benefit from more mapped cells. it would also be great if the...

ok, the note about josm seems to be valid for older versions of josm. in the latest the dialog window displays operator query.

hello all, even though josm editor suggests "name=" for naming an atm (cash machine), this key is more like optional. one should use "operator=" instead as stated at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Datm. according to this i think changing namekey tag from name to operator would make sense. what do you think?.

taking adjacent cells (of the same operator) into account the maximum error could also be estimated. i was thinking of starting from geoposition of actual cell (which is computed by opencellID from all measures), looking for the closest measures for other 4 cells in each quadrant (++, --, +-, -+) while current cell location being the start of planar. then we could take the maximum distance as...

google mobile maps shows estimated radius when cellid location is used. i don't think gpsmid's vector map would look nice with something like this but at least it could show a minimum error as a numerical value. at the build-time osm2gpsmid would compute maximum distance between two measures for each cell and then show something like e. g. minerr: 100 m.
