syndock is listed in my top-3 applications for current consumption in powertop. It causes 45 cpu wakeups-from-idle per second. It's probably because it's polling something (a file ?) too much. Can something be done about it ?.

Strigi should start indexing on its own when the computer is idle or a screensaver is running. Indexing "manually" should still be possible, though.
