First of all: I am using kile 2.0.1 so this question might be out dated.
In the Structure view of my document, there is an item "labels". This item does however only show the labels of equations and not the ones of the figures and tables. Is that a bug or is it intentional? And of course: Can I change this behaviour?
thanks in advance,.

I will try to give some explanation based on my Dutch version of Kile (1.9.3) so I will probably use other descriptions and words.
You can add a button to your bars. To do this find the "settigs" menu, Something like "bar settings..." (just above "Kile settings...").
Here you can choose one of your bars. In the left menu you have a list of all possible buttons...

Yes I think so, and the developers as well, that is why it is already there! It is however in the "project" menu. I can not tell you what the exact name of the item is because I don't have the english version of kile, but most probably it is called somethinh like "find in project...".

looks like a permission problem with /var/lib/texmf/tfm. Try something like
sudo chmod a+w /var/lib/texmf/tfm
I don't know what your system (distribution) is but this is definetely an error woth LaTeX and not with Kile...

Would there be any slight chance that error bars (or error bar detection) will be implemented in future versions of Dexter? That would be a good thing to have.

I think/guess that it is extremely simple.
Start kile and open a document (or create an empty one, whatever makes a new editor window).
go to Settings -> Configure Kile...
There is an "Editor" tab now which is the same as the one in Kate. And the last menu item in there is "Plugins".

I can tell you that this is my main irritation in kile. Especially when you work with larger projects with different files opened and are not paying attention to your screen while typing, this can be a nasty bug.

I think you are using quick compile. In stead of that, just use compile (without previewing; alt-6) and leave kpdf open. In my kpdf settings, I have a check next to "observe file" (it is a translated version so the text could be somwhat different)

I am using kpdf as a viewer. That does exactly what you want. When you recompile the document, it goes grey and after a couple of seconds it comes back to the page number you were looking at.
