I would like to play a short message as users log into the server.
I see this as a server function as I can use this to notify people of events etc. Also useful for people who don't see too well or pay attention when logging in.
If a user turns off TTS then they may and do miss server messages.
It would be great to see this as a config file option that connects an event to a sound file.

Compiled under amd64 on fc6 with current source. I use my test circuit that works under 32bit but the trace indicates 0 volts. The circuit also has no readings when running. I need to know where to start looking for this a small plan would be nice.

You will need to cut this up to patch the various files involved. The file info is included in the diff so it will only be tedious. This set will give time stamed bars, min max level readings on the trace, and a min max level on the left hand slider control.

Put this in the wrog place so putiing it here now. This will enable time codes in the scrolling data output area. I have no idea what the accuracy of the stamps is but the with 555 emulation they seem to be pretty good.
The file to patch is oscilloscopeview.cpp.
I have also patched to give max and min voltage in the data view for each trace. If you want I can send this also but it patches...
