  • Odd graphics problem

After traveling to a new star system, the game will have some graphics issues. It will repeat a peice of the graphic over and over again as it moves, like a ship or just about anything that moves or blinks. Windows 2000 is the OS.

  • Followup: RE: When are you gonna have some themes?

Themes were really not planned. The template design of PSA makes it so easy I didnt think I would need any. HOWEVER, it seems that a lot of the users really want some, so I will release probally about 5 or so, after version 2.2 comes out, which will be in about 10 days or so. With version 2.3, there should be about 15 total themes.

  • Followup: RE: Another problem

    1) That is normal. If you want to delete them just do it from the admin section. Its because the stories, like just about everything is held in the database. 2) This is because you changed the title of the #1 page. Change it to index, and that will allow you to see the page at index.php There will be a fix for this in version 2.2. Make sure you make the title "index" all...

  • Followup: RE: Still need help!!!

Its because you dont own that file, PHP does. Whatever user PHP is running as, usually the same as apache, owns the file. The best thing to do, or at least the easiest, is to delete it, re-upload install.php and re-run install.

  • Followup: RE: Please help!

The SQL is fine. I checked it in your admin section. The main problem here is your cookie setup. Read all the threads on this one in the forums. Your logpath in config.inc.php should be ".amarek.org" You can change this in config.inc.php its the $siteURL variable.

  • Followup: RE: Please explain...

The entire system is run using just index.php as the actual only file your visitors will ever go to. To change the templates, go to the /templates directory and change or create a template. In the page menu, in the admin area, you will see at the bottom a way to force a page to conform to a templates layout. The Help section in the admin area will be able to tell you more about it.

  • Followup: RE: Newsletter Mod not loading

At this point, I would try to upload the newsletter.php and newsletter.inc.php again. That is an odd error and I really cant think of why that error would occur. I am going to check the books and php.net to see if that is reproducable.
