  • Comment: FLAC files cannot be read by ffmpeg after being tagged

Tried again under FC8, was using FC6 and this issue still exists. It looks like its not after the files are tagged but actually after libffmpeg (internal decoder) decodes the file to generate the PUID. I'm not sure why it goes ahead and adds the id3 tags.

  • Comment: SIGABRT during transcode

Spoke too soon. Some files appear to work now, but not all. Working on getting stack.

  • Comment: SIGABRT during transcode

I updated to FC8, rebuilt with the newer versions of all the dependencies for that verion of Fedora and the issue has gone away. Looks like it wasn't a mp3fs bug.

  • Transport endpoint is not connected

Mountd with: mp3fs#/tmp/fuse-flac,128 /tmp/fuse-mp3 fuse allow_other,ro 0 0 Certain FLAC files appear to cause the FS to become unusable. Files can be listed, but attempting to access their contents causes the following error: 02:36 PM twinion /tmp/fuse-mp3 # cat test.mp3 > /dev/null cat: test.mp3: Transport endpoint is not connected cat: test.mp3: Transport endpoint is not connected.
