  • Comment: 3.9: Incorrectly reports no direct rendering

I have almost identical symptoms under Fedora 8 x86_64 with an Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M (rev a1) controller. The glxinfo output says that direct rendering is available, and glxgears runs happily (3408 fps). However, Stepmania claims that direct rendering is not available. I'm glad to perform further tests if needed.

  • Comment: shell variables broken when starting ssh

Turns out that it doesn't have anything to with the shell. I switched everything over to /bin/sh, and it was equally broken. I have also upgraded to Firefox 2.0.0.13, and that didn't solve the problem either. However, if I put this in the Tools dialog, it works: SSH Command: /usr/bin/gnome-terminal SSH Arguments: -x /usr/bin/ssh -v -i ${home}/ec2_keys/id_mykey ${user}@${host} However...

  • shell variables broken when starting ssh

When starting an ssh connection to a running instance, I get this message: Warning: Identity file ${key} not accessible: No such file or directory. And then the window closes again. However, I believe I have everything properly set up under the tools dialog. This is with Firefox 2.0.0.5 on Fedora 7. I suspect the problem is that I'm a tcsh user, and there's some difference with...

  • Followup: RE: Unable to login

I'm having the same problem. It is correctly posting to what appears to be the right URL but is getting a 404 not found when I try this against en.wikipedia.org. The path in the post is /index.php?title=Special:Userlogin&action=submitlogin&type=login The included fields look like the same ones from the standard Wikipedia login form. Thanks, William.

  • Could I see my project registration request?

Hi! Is there somewhere I can see my request to create the project "scissor-tools"? You folks approved it, and now I'd like to re-use where I said why I was posting it. I figure it must be somewhere, but after ten minutes of clicking around various menus, I'm stumped. Thanks!
