Unfortunately there is no error reporting to tell you why the load didn't work. I'm not sure what went wrong for you. I suggest starting with really simple XML files and DDL files and see if you can get that to work.

I'd suggest looking at html.ddl.

I don't think anyone has "webified" Foreigndesk or it's term manager component. The only product I know about that does what you want is Trados Multiterm (http://www.trados.com/products.asp?page=22).

OK. Are you sure no one will ever update the HTML pages? Because it's difficult to start using Foreigndesk for "version 2" unless you used it for "version 1" also.
Also, keep in mind that if the same sentence (or similar sentences) appears twice within your document (the set of HTML pages you are translating), Foreigndesk will detect that, and you only have to translate...

Foreigndesk doesn't automatically translate your files; you have to do the translation yourself. Were you expecting automatic translation?
Foreigndesk helps with tasks such as leveraging previous translations (recycling), so you don't have to translate the same sentence multiple times. But if you are starting a project from scratch that doesn't apply here. (But you will be able to use the...
