Oh, another idea i had just after submitting:
A configuration value where i can set the default for the field, but with the possibility to add the domain variable. For example:
I have the domain "mydomain.com" and a transport field should be "smtp:mail.mydomain.com". The config value then would be something like "smtp:mail.$domain". But that should also be an option only. Maybe another...
