So far I could solve special requirements with extra sections, plugins, and a fairly obvious enhancement
ExtraSectionFirstColumnConversion
that calls a plugin function. (In case someone is interested, the extra section counts things like detail.php?prod_id=12345, and the conversion looks up the product info in a mysql database)
Now I came across a problem that would require more...

the attached - incomplete - patch adds download percentage to a ps listing. This way several torrents can be downloaded in several processes, and a status is immediately available
Status: needs integration into configure, since the functionality does not exist on all platforms
I have no idea what happens when one aria2c process is downloading multiple files over http at the same time.

Hi, the problem did not occur again. I think the situation where it occurred is not too likely, anyway.

in a way, yes: I found it - with the "stolen from sendmail" comment - in a package that comes with GPL.

nothing wrong with that download ...
This seems to be problem only with unreliable tracker - at the moment the tracker for the problem torrent is still offline. At some time I could try to firewall the outgoing http traffic on this machine and see how it affects torrents.

the same thing happened again...
sequence of events:
a) download complete, seeding
b) failed to send event=completed, repeating several times
c) after seed time is over, tries to send event=stopped forever.

show (part of) the download status in the process title, along with the original arguments

the result message seems to contradict itself - there was an error but the file is ok.
Maybe this is meant to say that the file is valid for resuming?.
