Will url filter (http://www.urlfilter.net) be included in IPCop 2.0 as well as the advanced proxy? Another extremely useful add-on is update accelerator (http://update-accelerator.advproxy.net). Will it be incorporated into 2.0 ? The three plugins were designed to work together, and have worked very well for me in IPCop 1.4.21.

I'm using an alias domain, mapping an alternate name to the main domain name. When mail is sent to a user on the alternate domain, who has her vacation reply set, vacation.pl does not check if email address local part + the alternate domain exists, and says that the smtp envelope recipient user.name@main.domain not found in the header recipients (user.name@alternate.domain), and concludes that...

I'd really appreciate any available scripts for this. Could Mate and/or Simon post their scripts?
Mate, why the two new tables? Simon, did you need to add any tables or columns?
How do we tell postfix to accept for relay only to the main server, instead of the normal local delivery?
At present, I'm not using backup MX servers anymore, because of spam saturation. The valid user check...

I run a home-grown vacation script in PHP using the Postgres tables.
Here is a more detailed description. The PHP code should be very simple (simplistic?) to follow.

The files themselves are at :

I have been having problems using the vacation scripts distributed with postfixadmin. I'm running postfix 2.3, dovecot, postgresql 8.1, and a recent postfixadmin cvs.
I had the vacation-psql.pl script before I upgraded postfix to version 2.3, and was unable to get it to work after that. I tried to use the vacation.pl script by adding a cache field to vacation and changing the $db_type...

This is a simplistic vacation script for postfixadmin, written in PHP.
Since postfix has already figured out who the sender is, and who the recipient is, we can use
these values passed via the command line from the postfix pipe daemon process when our script
is called. This avoids having to parse the email message itself, and vastly simplifies the
program logic. It does impose some...

I tried the 'use FSCKeditor, paste into HTMLArea' test I described above, but it doesn't work, even when I switch HTMLArea to tags view before pasting.
Is there any way to turn OFF HTMLArea completely, and just get a raw text area?
Thanks,
John.

HTMLArea has lacks a very important feature: the ability to "clean to usability" text pasted from Word.
Following this thread and others, I checked out FCKEditor. It really looks great, and not only has Word cleanup ability, but also has a "format eraser" that removes all formating from the pasted text.
We're going to test it in a simple way: I just dropped the...

The mailing list seems polluted with spam, and I've posted the message there. I'll post it here as well, hope someone reads it.
I tried to use the chrootssh with SuSE 9.2, but although everything seemed to
be working correctly, the connection was simply dropped after successful
authentication.
As I went through the mailing list, I found the following message dating back

I checked the documentation for using two external interfaces and didn't see anything obvious.
I'd like to connect a LAN to the Internet, using two simultaneous low-cost connections: ADSL and cable. Ideally, I'd like to split traffic over both connections, but dead link detection and failover would already be a good start.
I've already done this manually, using Linux and iproute and...
