  • Followup: RE: Building with TextArea in RB2009r2

You are doing nothing wrong! The issue is that RB2009r3 has introduced a backwards incompatible change in the naming of single and multiline textbox GUI editing elements. Another issue is that REALsoftware only provides the latest release of their development IDE for download on the web. This means that when you - typically as Linux user - download the free compiler, you can only get the...

Running/Compiling it on 2009r2 should be no problem. I tried to contact you by mail, but your SF account bounces.

Weird, but could be, I think you are the first to use RB r2009.3 (or maybe even r2009.4). As a start, you need to open the main project file, OpenSong.rbvcp, in the RealBasic IDE.

OpenSong is written in RealBasic and the source is available in the Subversion repository, see https://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=svn&group_id=108754. To get the source for the current release, use svn: svn co https://opensong.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/opensong/source/tags/v1.5.1/ opensong_v1.5.1.

  • Followup: RE: Windows 7 and Opensong

The debug information on Windows can be shown using Microsoft's [DebugView][1]. To get a real debug version of the program, download the realbasic compiler (the trail will do), get a copy of the source (trunk or v.1.5.1 branch) and run it inside the IDE. This output might be different, not only because the current RB compiler r9.3 is more up to date and might include fixes for Windows 7...

  • Followup: RE: Plugin Help

OS does not use DirectX for drawing slides. The only correct way of integrating OS in SM is to use the API and implement the required drawing functions to pass the rendered content to SM. For further info see my post of 2009-08-27 10:42:58 CEST. At the moment no OS developer is working on this afaik. Anyone willing to dive into this, contact a project admin (or me directly). This looks like a...

  • Followup: RE: Verse Number Sequence to display

Good to hear OpenSong suits your needs! To make your day even better: yes, that is possible. Go to the general song presentation style settings (in the dutch version that is 'Instellingen', 'Presentatie instellingen', 'standaard dia stijl' on the tabpage 'stijl') or a song specific style on the advanced page for a song. With a song style, you can tick the option to display versenumbers in the...
