Both posting are about "Beat/sync playing mode" but this posting discribes a bug and the other explain the useless of the "new clip based Beat/Sync playing mode" and by the way the second posting also describes another bug but not the bug posted in here!

In my opinion the greatest new feature would be to have a graphical representation of the Audio Input (from Soudcard) or better a fast fouriour transformation (FFT) of Bass / Mid / High frequencies.
Then you could set a threshold value and when ever the audio level is higher then the threshold value a triggering accours which could be used for
example 1:
position the actual play position...

In earlier Versions of OpenTZT the settings Bx1, Bx2, Bx4, Bx8 ... was static which means one specific key for a specific speed. in newer versions (1.5 RC2) of TZT these settings depends on the length of the playing clip. It would be very usefull to have a switch in TZT.ini to set the old static behavier or the new clip based. The new version is really useless because you never know what speed...

When in Beat/Sync playing Mode (Bx1, Bx2, Bx4 ...) the switch for changing the play behavior

The 800x600 Version of TZT compared to the others is very buggy and not up to date! In my opinion it is the most important Version. But because it's so buggy my following bug reports are for the 640x480 pixel version which is a good balance for performane and resolution.
