It does I believe need some sort of whitelisting capability. We have lots of non-SMTP compliant devices on the inside of our network that are getting rejected for Invalid HELOs. (Printers, Dell RACs, etc, etc). Ideally it should respect the Sendmail Access DB. As of this point, we've had to turn it off unfortunately.
