Well, I noticed that the 60-wacom-rules I got didn't have the intuos4 so I pulled the regular rules and the sysfs rules down. This creates the correct devices so problem one is resolved. Thank you very much. However I'm still seeing problem 2. It looks like the position of top to bottom works but if I move the stylus left to right it goes about half way, then when I get to the edge it jumps...

I compiled the latest linuxwacom userspace, as well as X and 2.6.18-148.el5 kernel. Everything looks sort of like it works except two things: 1.) • 8.3-2 on Fedora 10, with 2.6.29 kernel.

I downloaded and compiled the 8.3-2 bits. It seemed to work okay, however after I unplugged the device, I can not get it to work again. I have completely removed the module and reloaded the device. Killed Xorg and tried several times. It still won't work. If I reboot it works fine. So I tried to reboot, then plug in the device, that worked okay. However after an unplug it no longer works.

  • Make fails.

Hello. I am trying to compile linuxwacom on a RHEL4.5 x86_64 machine. I ran ./configure --enable-wacom and the output was similar to that I saw in the documentation for this project. Then I ran make and I get this error. make[3]: Entering directory `/home/c/linuxwacom-0.7.8-2/src/2.6.9' Building linuxwacom drivers for 2.6 kernel. ***Note: Drivers not enabled as modules in your kernel...
