  • Comment: Infinite loop on Solaris when filesize < blocksize

Logged In: YES user_id=23236 Same on other OSes. * Noticed it on Mac OS X before, thought it was AppleTrouble * Noticed it on Linux, blaimed it on the holding ramdisk * Noticed it on Ubuntu Linux, now blaming it on srm itself The reported fix worked for me in the latter case. Dare I suggest bringing out 1.2.9 with this fix incorporated?.

  • Comment: Ripping 2nd CD while 1st still encoding fails

Logged In: YES user_id=23236 I had a related problem with grip 3.1.4 -- it does the ripping but somehow it deletes ogg's generated from the previous pass. My ripper was grip/ cdparanoia and my coder was oggenc.

  • Making htdig language sensitive

Hello people, I had feature request #707489 in search for language- dependent support. This is useful for sites that use content negotiation using the Accept-Language HTTP header. I embellished htdig to process a setting accept_language in the config file, by sending it along with the query. The patch is attached to the feature request. In addition, I made a wrapper around...

  • Comment: Language sensitive searches

Logged In: YES user_id=23236 The previously submitted script will not perform properly; the use of -c is prohibited in certain situations. Attached is a new script. It assumes that htsearch is built twice, and stored once with .nl and once with .en extension (vary as you need). The script then invokes the proper one. Building htsearch twice is done with different ./configure...

  • Language sensitive searches

Hi, I am setting up a bilingual website with content negotiation. ht://Dig does not work well with that. It does not state to the server in what language it would like to be answered (no Accept-Language: header). Currently, the default language for a webpage is all that gets indexed. And the language that the searching browser has set is not taken into account at all. What a...
