This seems to be SF nets biggest issue (inavailability of services). It was my understanding that the "make-over" was to overcome this issue. Sadly, it appears not (yet?).
Should it not yet be evident. This is a report to inform those in charge, that their users are /always/ given a page that reports:
Unable to connect to Search Server
whenever they perform a search at SF NET.

I was able to solve the problem with the database listed
above; the file name config.php collided with another file
by the same name in the server's include path. So I chose
a unique name and replaced all occurances of it's previous
name in the vStats files to the new unique name. It might
be a good idea to change this in the source, as config is...
